Nectar Home Orphanage (NGO)

You are warmly welcome to Nectar Home Orphanage, a home for children like us who are made orphans through the deadly disease HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable circumstances. We are told our district (Manya Krobo) is having the highest record of HIV/AIDS and for that matter the Eastern region and the country as a whole.

Sadly enough, with the exception of one or two organizations and some few private individuals most people have left us all alone to our fate without any support or encouragement and we feel very stigmatized, marginalized and rejected but it is our fervent prayer and hope that as you visit this website, you would not be one of those who are stigmatizing, marginalizing or rejecting us without any support.
May God touch your heart and come to our aid so that we can also grow up to be responsible adults in the future just like you.

Children are a heritage of the Lord as the good book puts it but so sadly enough the level of their neglect is unimaginable.

These children have become orphaned, vulnerable and needy through no fault of theirs, the majority of them have found themselves to be victims of HIV/AIDS deceased parent(s) and have become a burden to the society with some of them either thrown out of school or not being able to afford three square meals a day.

For them to grow to be responsible adults for the global village, why not help as we all put our resources (funds, clothing, food items etc.) together to make them to have the opportunity to grow as any other normal child leaving with their own parents.
